I Know That My Redeemer Lives

Job is probably the oldest book in the Bible. The quote ‘I know that my redeemer lives’ is from the book of Job. Here are two arrangements of this song for you to enjoy. You can download the music for the I Know That My Redeemer Lives, then watch the video.

Hi Jean,
How much are the Finger Picking and the Kids guitar classes?
Thanks,
Pam
This is great!!!! Great demo showing what your fingers are doing and giving us a variety of strums to make it our own!!
Best of all….the office was quiet and I ended my day with a wonderful Worship Song! What more could you want????
(More flexible fingers!!)
Kathi
Pam, for streaming video they are $28 each. It’s extra to add the DVD.

Jean
Kathi,
Delighted you’re enjoying the video. With the system on here, the videos are larger and even easier to view.

Bob, that’s very sweet. The address is on the Contact Page of http://WorshipGuitarClass.com
Hello Jean, I have watched your video on “MY Redeemer Lives” I really enjoyed it. Expecially the finger picking patterns that you presented. I like how you carefully break down the chord changes and how you explain (very slowly) the fingers to use in the picking patterns. I enjoy viewing your web site. Thanks RW
Thanks Robert. Glad you enjoyed it. It’s here anytime you want to review the song.
God Bless,
Jean
Dear Jean,
What a blessing this song is. I watched the Streaming Vidio and it was by far the best teaching method I have seen. I still need to get a new guitar since mine is cracked but I won’t be waiting to long. I want to get back to playing and not just strumming. I don’t know what I am going to do about my singing yet. I pray that the Lord continues to bless your ministry.
God Bless,
Craig
Jean <I deeply appreciate your love for God’s music and to be willing to share that with others whether Christians or not,I get a blessing just listening to you because I know it comes from a heart filled with God’s love ,Thank you so much for being who your ,may God richly bless all that your hands may endeavor to do.Thank you so much.
Nice instructional video and layout, the only thing that could make it any better would be chord pattern graphic opposite the neck and note staff opposite the fingering below. Very pretty melodic song with beautiful lyrics. Easy to follow by any new to intermediate guitarist(imho). Thanks for sharing and I still recommend your web site for those wanting to learn worship guitar on my links page. Best to you and all His blessings.
John
Thanks Craig, Ron and John. It was nice to come home and see your comments.

thanks for vid,
Thanks for My Redeemer Lives, We purchased Vol 1 of the Kid’s Worship DVD and book around Christmas, then I got a guitar for Christmas and I am learning as I am teaching the grandkids using your DVD and book. I got the complete Guitar Worship Series a couple of weeks ago, in the e-books I discovered I was developing bad hand positioning and am grateful I got the informatin that allows me to make corrections early before I was set in my ways. I was struggling with the right hand finger exercises and realy was looking for a video example and you blessed me by making it a part of your My Redeemer Lives Video.
Thanks
James
So nice see the video and learn guitar. I am so excited to learn it. Give you one thousand thanks >_<
Dear Jean
I can open the pdf format of the song, and I am very eager to hear it. However, it does not open. Any idea why this is happening? Yes, I use Internet Explorer. Could that be why?
I click on it, and a black box appears, and even for an hour nothing appeared in it.
Samantha,
I just tried it in Firefox on a Mac and it downloaded immediately. Also tried it on IE with a PC laptop and had no problems seeing the music. Do you have adobe reader installed on your computer? You can get it free at adobe.com. You may have to search a little because their paid version is always featured.
God Bless,
Jean
First, thanks Jean for all you are doing! Your videos and lessons have both given me a great start and taken me further than I had expected. My question concerns strumming patterns which I seem to struggle with on every song.
For example, when I first downloaded the #1 arrangement for this song and saw the suggested strumming pattern, I tried to execute the pattern prior to watching the video. I tried one pattern on the “I know that my Red” which worked out to about 50bpm and then couldn’t figure out how to break that pattern for the “eemer” since it seemed to receive only two beats.
After watching your video, it became clear – Two patterns on the first part, one full one on the “eemer.” My question is, if I don’t have your video, or another, on every song I attempt, how do I work this out? Are their guidelines, exercises, or instruction available? Is it just experimentation and experience? Do I need sheet music to read the measures for a guide?
Finally, this new website is great!!
i want to say thank you so much mam for all the songs and all the guitar lessons,
