I am new to guitar. i have been struggling to learn with books. I look forward to learning more here
Thank you, Jean…
I was surprised that you called me when you realized I was having a problem with my ordering info. You really went out of your way to make sure I got everything straightned out and set up. I am now going to send in my order for the guitarworshipclass dvds set of four.
I feel confident I have chosen the right online site for my lessons. Thanks again,
Anne Law
Thanks Ann. I see your order. Yes… I’m here to help you and do want all of the students to be successful.
God Bless,
Jean
Jean,
What good quality classical guitar would you recommend as a permanent guitar, not just for beginning but for long term?
I have small hands and some arthritis in my wrists.
Ann, there are suggestions for good student guitars here – http://www.worshipguitarclass.com/guitars-for-students.html
Hi Jean, i hope this URL works, it’s of Buddy Church playing How Great Thou Art (finger picking). I would love to find the music as close to how he’s playing….any suggestions?

Ric.
That’s a very nice arrangement. It’s in the key of ‘D’ and he is using low ‘D’ tuning on the 6th string. It wouldn’t be hard to figure out… but I don’t have time at the moment. The chords are mostly around D, A and E in various positions on the neck. He’s playing the melody in the treble strings and filling in the basses when the melody is holding. He’s also using a flat 7, which is such a nice sound, and some suspended chords like the Dsus towards the beginning of the song. If you take if frame by frame, you should be able to pick up most of it. Just turn your 6th string down to ‘D’ first.
Blessings,
Jean
Thank you for your responce Jean. If you ever get a chance to do “How Great Thou Art” in an arrangement such as this i would love to buy the lesson. This is by far my favorite.
You are so blessed and i appreciate you sharing your wonderful talents.
Your lessons are great and your web site is just what i was looking for!
Thanks again and God Bless
Ric
Thanks Ric. That’s actually why I made ‘Be Thou My Vision’ arrangements. Someone requested it and continued to email me until I go the chance to make and film the arrangements. Am in the midst of a few other projects right now… but will look into this soon.
God Bless, Jean
